Renee Hardester, owner and founder of Fit In The City, is dedicated to an educational approach

to fitness for all participants.  She is responsible for developing several successful corporate fitness

and boot camp programs in Omaha, NE.  With over 19 years of experience, her passion is to continue

to bring fitness to all who have the desire to make fitness a part of daily living.

 

Renee is a national presenter for several accredited fitness organizations, and believes that all individuals

should have the opportunity to enjoy a happy and fit lifestyle.  She holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from the

University of Minnesota, and several national certifications.

 

Colleen Henely, V.P. of Operations for Fit In The City, is passionate about getting the best out of her

participants, and motivating them to achieve more.  With 10 years in the fitness industry, she has trained instructors

just entering the field as well as veterans, and believes that education is the key element to improving one's abilities.

She enjoys educating while instructing and making fitness more than just movement.

 

Colleen received her B.S. from Kent State University, and is a certified Group Fitness Instructor and

Personal Trainer.  She also holds certifications in Aqua, Cycling and Yoga.

 

 

Amber Long has been working in the fitness field for 9 years as an AFAA certified fitness instructor

and ACE certified personal trainer.  She is currently the Assistant Director of Fitness at the

University of Kansas Student Recreation Fitness Center where she manages and trains group fitness

instructors and personal trainers.  Amber has a passion for the education and inspiration of the fitness

professionals of any age. 

 

Amber holds a masters degree in Higher Education and a B. S. in Community Health Education from

Iowa State University. 

 

 

 

Stephanie Thielen, B.S., holds 20 years of extensive experience in group fitness instruction, program

development, and staff management at the corporate, community, and collegiate level.  Dedicated

to quality eduation, Stephanie provides fitness workshops that teach logical methods for class

construction, providing the "tools of the trade" to help instructors develop their professional

teaching skills.

 

Stephanie is an AEA Training Specialist, NETA Trainer, BOSU Master Trainer/Presenter, and a

Premier Consultant with SFT, a company that provides educational resources to fitness

professionals.
