What can I expect in a session?

·         Every client’s first session is their fitness assessment and goal-planning.  Each session thereafter will include a workout to help them achieve their goal, as well as a question and answer period.

 

Will you create meal plans for me?

·         Fit In The City Personal Trainers are not registered dieticians, and will not provide meal plans. However, they will provide nutritional guidance and a food journal.

 

How long is each session?

·         We have an option for 45 minute sessions or 60 minute sessions for corporate locations. 

 

How do we measure my improvements?

·         Your initial session involves a fitness assessment.  Circumference measurements, as well as body fat testing for a base line.  Strength testing, cardiovascular testing, and flexibility are also assessed for a base-line.  Based on the type of packages purchased, retesting will be completed on an average of every 3 months.

 

What is my trainer’s background?

·         All Fit In The City Personal Trainers hold a national Personal Training certification as well as a certification in CPR.  As a team, we have over 20 years of Personal Training experience and each client will be placed with the trainer that is best suited to their needs and goals.

 

How many times a week do I train?

·         We recommend a minimum of two times a week to work with your trainer, an additional 2 to 3 workouts are expected in order to achieve and maintain your goals.

 

Will I get copies of my work-outs?

·         Each trainer will complete an exercise log for each client as well as a weekly summary if desired.
